Essential Swimwear

For babies and toddlers who are not yet potty trained you will need a disposable swimming nappy, a "happy nappy" on top, and a wetsuit for your child to wear over these two base layers.

Disposable swimming nappies do not contain leaks on their own, which is why a neoprene "happy nappy" is needed on top as it keeps any nappy leaks from entering the pool. A wetsuit top layer then keeps your child warm during the swim lesson.

I'm happy to advise on baby swimwear brands, and I also sell wetsuits brand new or second hand - if you would like to order a wetsuit just give me a call or drop me a message!

Top tip #1:  Bring a spare disposable swim nappy just in case of unexpected accidents!

Top tip #2: Swim nappies only catch solids, so bear this in mind if changing your child before travelling to the pool!

Top tip #3: For yourself, I recommend bringing a coverall poncho towel, it keeps you warm and dry with your hands free whilst you dry and change your little one!
